Frequently Asked Questions

Here we present the most frequently received inquiries for this period

How did the association originate?

It originated as an initiative from air traffic professionals themselves with the objective of strengthening trade union cohesion, promoting technical development and institutionally representing the interests of personnel specialised in air traffic management. Its establishment responds to the need for a formal forum for coordination, cooperation and continuous improvement within the national aeronautical domain.

What is the main short-term objective?

Our principal short-term objective is to consolidate the Association's internal organisation, strengthen continuous training for air traffic controllers and foster the exchange of technical and operational experience. Additionally, we seek to establish cooperative links with national and international entities in the aeronautical sector to contribute to improved operational safety and the efficiency of air navigation services.

What is the Association's projection for the near future?

In the medium to long term, we aim to position ourselves as a technical and professional reference within the Peruvian and regional aeronautical system. We aspire to actively participate in technological modernization processes, advanced training programmes and international forums related to airspace management. Likewise, we intend to consolidate our representation before public and private bodies, always promoting excellence and operational safety.

Do you offer additional services such as training?

Yes. The Association promotes professional development programmes and training workshops on topics related to air traffic management, operational safety, international procedures and the application of new technologies. These activities are directed at both practising air traffic controllers and students and professionals interested in the aeronautical field, seeking to raise technical competency standards in the country.

How do you contribute to the national and global aeronautical industry?

Our contribution is grounded in a commitment to safety, efficiency and innovation in air traffic management. We actively participate in strengthening the national aeronautical system through technical exchange, professional training and dissemination of operational best practices. Moreover, we collaborate with international institutions to align our procedures with ICAO global standards, thereby promoting a modern, safe and sustainable air navigation system.
